First Aid lessons being trialled out in 1600 schools.

Trial first aid lessons are being rolled out with a total 1600 schools already involved .These lessons will become compulsory from 2020.

Primary school children will be taught basic skills such as how to call emergency services, while secondary school children will learn life-saving skills such as how to help someone who is suffering a cardiac arrest.

This will help to improve already shockingly low survival rates from cardiac arrest .

Survival rates in countries that already reach first aid in schools are much higher.

This is a positive move by the government and will give many children life saving skills .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-49663090?fbclid=IwAR3M9oQkXkLg7k27sLirJ2hqyZiNj8cPDhSnCDc_7s1XX9H4Alinpo67BMo
