Links to Quality Standards Every Child Matters the EYFS:
The Paediatric First Aid course has very clear links to the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Section 3 – The Welfare requirements: Safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare; including relevant knowledge for first aid for outings and up to date information about Illnesses and injuries.

This course is not a First Aid at work certificate.

Important:
All students must produce a copy of their HSE First Aid at Work Certificate on Arrival.

Important Notice:
The following course is not a first aid at work qualification. The prevention of accidents is obviously preferable to giving first aid. Nothing can replace adequate supervision of a child in a friendly and relaxed environment. Now and again accidents and illness occur, and you may be called upon to give first aid to a child in your care. Our training course also takes account of any guidance on first aid for schools issued by the Department for Education and skills, and guidance on standard first aid at work training requirements issued by the Health & Safety Executive.
