In-House Courses
Once you have discussed suitable dates for your in - house course, download our course booking form and return the form by email, fax, or post. On receipt of the form we will process your booking. You will receive an email or telephone call confirming the course and full information will be sent to you nearer the start date of the course.

Open Courses
Online booking is available for our open courses (see Course Dates). To book a place, simple complete the online Open Course Booking Form. On receipt of the form we will process your booking. You will receive an email or telephone call confirming your place on the course and full information will be sent to you nearer the start date of the course.


 


Terms & Conditions

Section 1  BOOKING
All contracts formed between Action Training Services Ltd and the client will be subject to our standard terms and conditions set out herein.

All booking forms must be signed that you agree and have fully read and understood the terms and conditions; and where possible all booking forms must be accompanied with a purchase order.

You will be contacted in writing either via email or letter upon receipt of your booking form to confirm your order.

Section 2 PAYMENTS
Credit account customers:
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.

All late payments over 30 days will be subject to an 8% + base rate interest charge in accordance with the "Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1974"

Non credit account customers:
If you place a booking payment will be required before the course commencement date. Invoices will be issued in advance but not more that 30 days prior to the course.

These should be paid in full upon receipt.

If payment is not received the booking will be considered cancelled.

SECTION 3  TRANSFERS
Should circumstances dictate that you need to change course dates the following will apply

First change more than 4 weeks prior to start date -- £10 transfer fee

Two – four weeks notice given - 25% of course fee

Less than two weeks notice given - 50% of course fee

Subsequent transfers will incur a minimum of 25% rising to 50% dependant on notice given.

SECTION 4  CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be in writing and are subject to the following charges:

- £25.00 administration charge over 28 days prior to the course.
- 25% of the fees between 27 days and 14 days prior to the course.
- 50% of the fees between 13 days than 8 days prior to the course 

- Full fee payable 7 days or less

SECTION 5 NON-ATTENDANCES
The full fee is payable

SECTION 6  UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
Action Training Services Ltd reserves the right to alter the content, lectures, timing and venue of the course for reasons beyond the control of Action Training Services Ltd

All courses run subject to demand and must reach the required minimum numbers for the course to be commercially viable.

Certificates will be issued upon receipt of payment and successful completion of the relevant course.

Where Action Training Services cancel a course we will offer a full refund or free transfer

SECTION 7  GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS AND EMPLOYERS
It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that students are free from any condition which would affect their capability to undertake their chosen course, and that they have the aptitude to cope with a course of study. We welcome students with disabilities but it remains their employer's responsibility to ensure that they are appropriately supported in their workplace.

To be eligible to attend an HSE two day re-qualification course, students must present a valid First Aid certificate issued by an HSE-approved provider which is "in date" on the last day of the re-qualification course. The HSE allow a maximum of 28 days from the expiry date of the certificate to complete re-qualification training and assessment.
